Please Note that for Actuate Lite to work effectively you must ensure that the Analytic such as Motion or Intrusion Detection is configured to “Send Email” and includes at least one Video Image with each email.
Actuate Lite only supports the “Intruder” Analytic for picking up event such as People, Vehicles or Bikes.
Actuate Lite is ideal for monitoring of existing NVR systems and reduced false alarm events drastically.
Navigate to SMTP/Email settings on the device. This is usually found under “Event,” “FTP/Email,” “Network,” “Email,” or similar options.
Under Email/SMTP configuration on the device, input the following information:
Server address: smtp.actuateui.net
Port: 587
Subject: Actuate
Username & Password: actuate
Once we have the completed form we will provide you with an Email Sender & Recipient email address that is unique to your site.
