Please Note that Hikvision NVR must be setup and configured with the below attributes for us to correctly monitor:

  • Video Recording – A Record Schedule must be enabled and configured for each camera.

  • Alarm Events from the Hikvision NVR will only be reported when NVR is Armed. This can be achieved via Schedule or linking to an Alarm System. We strongly recommend that Alarm Events are carefully considered as an analytic like Motion Detection is un-reliable and will cause false alerts.

  • Connection to Hikvision requires a Static IP and Port Forwarding, We are currently unable to access cameras via Hik-Connect

  • Both the NVR’s SDK And RTSP Ports must be port Forwarded within the customers Firewall or Router

  • You must confirm that the customer is assigned a static IP address, this is usually a paid service from most Internet Service Providers. Dynamic IP Address’s are not suitable for this service.

  • Sites with Large numbers of cameras are difficult for us to connect to, we strongly recommend that cameras are limited to 16 or less.

  • NVR Connection is limited by clients bandwidth and Internet connection.

  • Stream Keys / Encryption must be disabled for Alarm Watch to be able to view cameras
