  • Arm (away)SecurityArmAway
    • Close doors and windows. The panel's Home button lights green when it's ready; a house icon at the top means an inside sensor is open.
    • Touch Security, then Arm. If a door or window is open, the Bypass screen shows: close it, or touch Bypass All.
    • Leave Entry Delay ticked, so you have time to disarm when you come back, then touch Away.
    • Key in your code if the panel asks (it does when quick arming is off).
    • The exit delay counts down with beeps, faster in the last 10 seconds.

  • Arm while homeSecurityArmStay
    • Stay arms the outside doors and windows only, so you can move about inside.
    • Touch Security, then Arm.
    • Leave Entry Delay ticked if someone may return; unticking it makes protected entry doors instant.
    • For quiet arming, touch the speaker picture first; this doubles the exit delay. Touch Stay, then key in your code if asked.
    • To pop out while armed, touch Quick Exit on the Security screen, if your installer turned it on. It re-arms afterwards.

Why is my keypad beeping or showing a trouble light?

Most keypads beep or light up a trouble indicator when something needs attention, such as a low backup battery, a power cut or a lost phone or internet connection. Your user guide explains what each light or code means on your model. If it keeps happening, or you are not sure, call your installer or monitoring company.

Is anyone watching your alarm?

An alarm that only makes a noise relies on someone hearing it. A monitored alarm reports to our A1 graded, NZSA approved control room, watched 24/7 by a team that is New Zealand owned and operated. We can monitor most existing alarms, so you may not need a new one. Thinking about a new alarm or security cameras? Ask us for a quote.
