14 ABOVE: Part of the procession pictured on its return down St Hill Street back to Cook's Gardens. BELOW: A Motor-Boat Club entry in the parade. RIGHT: To add a little realism, the Underwater Club had a couple of speared sharks dangling from their entry. --- ABOVE LEFT: Anybody want to join the Underwater Club???? Can't say that we blame you. ABOVE CENTRE: An attractive floral entry featuring a bride, flowergirl and dozens of orchids. ABOVE RIGHT: One of the parade's "big heads". RIGHT: The C.I.C. float, "The Littlest Angel", was judged second in the commercial section. BELOW: Meat Packers were third with this scene from the nursery rhyme "Sing a Song of Sixpence". BELOW RIGHT: Londontown Ltd. featured Noah and his Ark....complete with all of the animals. This float, although very creditably conceived, came Noah-where in the major placings.
