Last year, Murray, a member of the Tawero Golf Club, was runner up for the same title. Above: HIGH AWARD PRESENTED. NIGHTINGALLS NIGHTINGALLS STROLLING PLACE A favourite strolling place along the Wanganui River is this spot near Cahours Corner. During summer, families come here to picnic and laze on the grassy slopes and watch the motorboats racing on the river below them, rowing crews training, and canoeists paddling lazily along. 53
