Arm (away)your codeorF1
- Key in your code, or press A on your remote. The panel beeps and the exit delay starts: leave before it ends.
- The Armed light blinks slowly during the exit delay and stays on once the system is armed.
- If your installer allows arming without a code, [F][1] (or the arming key on a JA-63F keypad) arms too.
- Four beeps while arming? Zones are bypassed (b shows on the display), or something isn't ready.
Arm while homeF2
- Jablotron calls this partial (home) arming. Detectors your installer put in section B are ignored; smoke and gas detectors still work.
- Press [F][2], or the partial-setting key on a JA-63F keypad. Add your code if your installer set it up that way.
- The display shows H while the system is partly armed.
- Your installer can turn partial arming off. If your system is split into sections, [F][2] arms section B instead. Disarm with your code as usual.
Disarmyour code
- Coming in starts the entry delay: the Armed light blinks fast.
- Key in your code, or press B on your remote. The panel beeps twice and disarms.
- Three beeps instead? Check the keypad lights: an alarm in memory, a fault or a low battery.
- Your code, or B on the remote, also stops an alarm.
Bypass a zoneF0master code1
- While disarmed, press [F][0] and the master code: user mode, shown by U. Then press [1] for the bypass menu.
- Scroll through the wireless detectors with [1] and [6].
- Hold [2] for 2 seconds to bypass the one showing until the next disarm (Battery light flashes). Hold [3] to bypass it until you cancel it (Battery light steady).
- Press the same key again to undo it, or hold [4] to cancel every bypass.
- Press [N] to leave the menu and [N] again to leave user mode. Arming then gives 4 beeps and shows b.
Alarm memoryF4
- Press [F][4]: the lights and display show the last alarm or fault and where it came from.
- Press [4] again to go further back through the memory. Press [N] to leave.
- Your installer may have set [F][4] to need your code after it.

- An RC-22 panic button, or both buttons of an RC-11 remote held for 3 seconds, also sends a panic.

Test the systemF0master code
- While disarmed, press [F][0] and the master code: user mode, shown by U.

- Some detectors have a test mode for 5 minutes after their cover is put back on; otherwise a motion detector may wait up to 5 minutes between reports.
- Press [N] to leave user mode.
Trouble lights
- A fault lights Fault, and the panel may beep. Press [N] to confirm the fault and stop the beeps.
- The 2-digit display shows where the event came from (see Alarm memory). [F][4] shows it again later.
- Fault C on the display: a power or fuse problem in the panel. Check its plug-pack, or call your installer.
- Low battery: enter user mode ([F][0] and the master code), change the device's battery, test it, then press [N].

Why is my keypad beeping or showing a trouble light?
Most keypads beep or light up a trouble indicator when something needs attention, such as a low backup battery, a power cut or a lost phone or internet connection. Your user guide explains what each light or code means on your model. If it keeps happening, or you are not sure, call your installer or monitoring company.

Is anyone watching your alarm?
An alarm that only makes a noise relies on someone hearing it. A monitored alarm reports to our A1 graded, NZSA approved control room, watched 24/7 by a team that is New Zealand owned and operated. We can monitor most existing alarms, so you may not need a new one. Thinking about a new alarm or security cameras? Ask us for a quote.
