Keypad cheat sheet

• Arm (away)your code#orhold#

  • Key in your code, then press # (the key marked AWAY).
  • Two beeps, the AWAY icon shows and the exit time starts. The codepad beeps every 2 seconds, then one long beep in the last 10 seconds.
  • Unless your installer has turned it off, holding # until two beeps also arms.
  • A zone still open when the exit time ends is left out until it closes. Opening it after that sets the alarm off.
  • A long beep and no arming means your system won't arm with a zone open: close it or isolate it first.

  • The panel calls this STAY Mode. The zones your installer chose are left off so you can move about.
  • Key in your code, then press * (the key marked STAY). Unless your installer has turned it off, holding * until two beeps also works.
  • Two beeps and the STAY icon shows. The left-off zones flash during the exit time, then one short beep.
  • STAY Mode 2: hold 0 until two beeps. It leaves off the zones a master code user picked.
  • To pick them: master code, 4, #, then each zone number and *, then # to finish.

• Disarmyour code#

  • Key in your code, then press #. Two beeps tell you it has disarmed.
  • A flashing zone number shows a zone that went into alarm.
  • Under threat, add your duress digit to the end of your code, then press #. It disarms and sends a silent duress alarm, if monitored.

• Bypass a zone**zone*then#

  • The panel calls this isolating. Each detector or door contact is a zone.
  • Press * twice. Three beeps and the STAY icon flashes.
  • Key in the zone number, then *. Its number flashes. Do the same again to undo a zone.
  • Press # when done. Two beeps, and the system is back to disarmed.
  • If your installer has set up code to isolate, start with *, your code, then * instead.

  • After you disarm, a flashing zone number shows the zone that went into alarm.
  • To replay the last 256 events, key in your master code, then 8, then #.
  • Three beeps, then the events show one at a time on the codepad, newest first, with a beep each.

  • The panel calls this day alarm: zones 1 to 4, if your installer set them up, beep the codepad while disarmed.
  • Hold 4 until three beeps to turn it on, or until two beeps to turn it off.
  • While it is on, the STAY icon flashes once every 3 seconds.

  • Press 1 and 3 together, or * and # together. A loud panic alarm starts.
  • Press 4 and 6 together for a fire alarm, or 7 and 9 for a medical alarm.
  • Your installer can switch these off or make them silent.

• Change a codemaster code1#user number#new code#

  • Key in your master code, then 1, then #. Three beeps and the STAY and AWAY icons flash.
  • Key in the user number (1 to 32), then #. Two beeps and that number shows.
  • Key in the new code, then #. Two beeps and the icons go out.
  • To delete that user's code instead, press * where you would key in the new code.
  • Only the master code can add or change codes.

• Set the date and timemaster code6#datetime#

  • Key in your master code, then 6, then #. Three beeps and the STAY and AWAY icons flash.
  • Key in day, month, year, hour and minute, two digits each, in 24-hour time.
  • Press #. Two beeps and the icons go out. A long beep means a mistake: start again.
  • The panel flags a date and time fault every time it has been powered down. Set it again when that happens.

  • A fault makes the FAULTS or MAINS icon flash and the codepad beep once a minute. Press # to stop the beeping.
  • Hold 5 until two beeps. A zone number shows the type of fault (see the table).
  • Hold that same number's key to see more, for example which wireless zone has a low battery.
  • Press # to leave. The FAULTS icon stays on until the fault is fixed.
