- Close doors and windows. Press any number key to list anything still open.
- Key in your passcode and press [ENT]. If enabled, [COMMAND] [1] also arms; enter your code and ENT if prompted.
- ARMING shows, then EXIT NOW with the seconds left, and the keypad beeps. Leave before it runs out.
- Door left open? CHK AREA shows. Press [NEXT] until FORCE ARM shows, then [ENT], if your installer allows force arming.
Arm while homeCOMMAND3orCOMMAND2
- If enabled, perimeter arming protects outside doors and windows while leaving inside detectors off. Close perimeter points first.
- Press [COMMAND] [3], then your code and ENT if prompted. EXIT NOW counts down, then PERIMETR DELAYED shows.
- At bedtime, [COMMAND] then [2] arms the perimeter with no entry or exit delay. The display reads PERIMETR INSTANT.
- With [COMMAND] [2] on, opening an outside door sets the alarm off, so disarm before you go out.
- If partial arming is enabled, leave selected perimeter points open, press [COMMAND] [8], and keep them open until exit time ends.

- Come in by your usual entry door. The keypad makes a tweedle tone and shows DISARM NOW.
- Enter your code before entry time ends, then press [ENT] within 8 seconds of finishing the code. The disarmed message returns.
- Alarm sounding? Your passcode and [ENT] silence it. If it was a mistake, ring your alarm company.
- Under threat? If duress is set up, key in your code with its last digit 1 or 2 higher, then [ENT]: it disarms and sends a silent alarm.
Bypass a zoneCOMMAND0zoneENTENT
- Each detector or door contact is a point. A bypassed point is left out of the system. Start disarmed.
- If bypassing is enabled, press [COMMAND] [0]; enter your code and ENT if asked. At ENTER PT NUM, enter the point, then ENT twice.
- Not sure of the number? Press [NEXT] to scroll the list, and [ENT] when the one you want shows.
- PT ## BYPASSED confirms it. NOT BYPASSABLE means that point can't be left out.
- To put it back, press [COMMAND], then [0] twice, and choose the point the same way.

- After an alarm is silenced, ALARM SILENCED keeps scrolling to remind you the details are stored.
- With the system disarmed, press [COMMAND] [4] [0]. Enter your code and ENT if prompted.
- Press [NEXT] to step through: fire alarms first, then alarms, then troubles. NO EVENTS means nothing is stored.
- Press [ESC] to leave. To clear the memory, key in your passcode and press [ESC], or arm the system.

- If Watch is enabled, disarm and press [COMMAND] [6]. Enter your code and ENT if prompted. WATCH IS NOW ON shows.
- Press [COMMAND], then [6] again to turn it off. WATCH IS NOW OFF shows.

- It won't chime while the keys are lit, which lasts 20 seconds after a key press.
Reset smoke detectorsCOMMAND47
- Fire alarm? Get everyone out and check for smoke or fire. Your passcode and [ENT] silence it.
- Once safe, disarm. If reset is enabled, press [COMMAND] [4] [7], then your code and ENT if prompted.
- SENSORS RESETING shows for about 3 seconds, the display goes blank, then the disarmed message returns.

Why is my keypad beeping or showing a trouble light?
Most keypads beep or light up a trouble indicator when something needs attention, such as a low backup battery, a power cut or a lost phone or internet connection. Your user guide explains what each light or code means on your model. If it keeps happening, or you are not sure, call your installer or monitoring company.

Is anyone watching your alarm?
An alarm that only makes a noise relies on someone hearing it. A monitored alarm reports to our A1 graded, NZSA approved control room, watched 24/7 by a team that is New Zealand owned and operated. We can monitor most existing alarms, so you may not need a new one. Thinking about a new alarm or security cameras? Ask us for a quote.
