Arm (away)LOCKyour codeENTER
- K38M keypad: press the key with the closed padlock, then key in your 6-digit code.
- Two areas? Press [1] or [2] (marked AREA) for one, or [3] for both. With no area picked, area 1 arms.
- Finish with [ENTER] (the bent-arrow key). The display shows ARM beside the area.
- The backspace key cancels, or clears a mistake in your code. A long failure beep means it didn't work.
- BlueEye app: tap Arm/Disarm beside the area, then Arm. K70M touchscreen: on the Home screen, pick the areas, then Arm.

- Stay: press the key with a house. Sleep: press the key with a bed.
- Key in your code, pick the area if you have two, then press [ENTER].
- If Arm without Code is turned on for the keypad in BlueEye, hold the key instead, and press the area key when the display blinks.
- Holding a key also steps up: Stay to Sleep, or Stay or Sleep to full Arm.
- In the BlueEye app or on a K70M, pick Stay or Sleep instead of Arm.

- K38M: press the key with the open padlock, key in your code, pick the area if asked, then press [ENTER].
- BlueEye app: tap Arm/Disarm beside the area, then Disarm.
- K70M: pick the areas, tap Disarm and key in your code. During an alarm, the Alarm screen lets you disarm.

- BlueEye app: on the Home Screen, tap Events for the history of alarms and other activity.
- K70M: tap the message centre icon at the top of the Home screen, then Alarm in Memory. Tap Acknowledge All once you've seen them.
Chime on or offSettingsBackSound & Chime
- K70M: tap Settings. It asks for a code; tap Back to carry on without one.
- Tap Sound & Chime, turn on the chime and pick the zones that should chime on the keypad.

- K38M: press and hold keys 4 and 6 together (they carry warning signs).
- K70M: press and hold the Panic button for 3 seconds. To cancel, tap Mute and key in your code.
- The panic can be set to off, silent or audible in the BlueEye app's general settings.

- Codes are set in the BlueEye app. Open the site and tap the menu icon at the top right of the Home screen.
- Tap Profile, then Edit next to System Codes.
- Key in a six-digit code and tap Save. You then use it on the keypad.
- Avoid a digit more than three times in a row, repeated groups (234234) and runs (123456).

- BlueEye app: tap the menu icon, then Programming, then Hardware.
- Tap Zones, then Test Zones.
- Open and close each zone. An opened zone jumps to the top; 5 seconds after it closes it moves to the end.
- Tap End when you've done them all. 'All Zones Tested' confirms it.
Trouble lights
- TROUBLE on the K38M display means a system problem, such as a tamper or a flat battery. The BlueEye message centre has details.
- TROUBLE on its own, with nothing else shown, means the keypad has lost contact with the system.
- If the M25 is offline for more than 20 minutes, you and your installer get a push notification.
- The logo on the front of the M25 shows its state (see the table).

Why is my keypad beeping or showing a trouble light?
Most keypads beep or light up a trouble indicator when something needs attention, such as a low backup battery, a power cut or a lost phone or internet connection. Your user guide explains what each light or code means on your model. If it keeps happening, or you are not sure, call your installer or monitoring company.
